About B.P. Marine Academy
B.P. Marine Academy (BPMA) was established by its visionary Founder Chairman Mr. R.C. Singh on 5th December 1997 Pioneering of Maritime Training in Navi Mumbai. Today, B.P. Marine Academy stands tall as one of India's premier maritime training institutions, operating from a 1,35,000 sq. ft. facility at Belapur and a World-class campus built over 15 acres of land in Panvel.
The Academy has been featured in Limca Book of records for training highest number of seafarers in a single calendar year and Guinness Book of World records for highest employability skills - an outstanding feat that reinforces its key role in fulfilling India's maritime workforce requirements.
Since its inception, B.P. Marine Academy has trained over 9.5 lakh seafarers in various pre-sea and post sea courses. The Academy has earned a spot in Limca Book of Records for three consecutive years (2014, 2015, and 2016) for training the highest number of seafarer in a single calendar year and in the Guinness Book of World records for highest employability skills - an outstanding feat that reinforces its key role in fulfilling India's maritime workforce requirements.
B.P. Marine Academy has been a steadfast partner of the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), offering DG-approved courses with the objective to prepare seafarers to meet the evolving challenges of the maritime industry through comprehensive training that enhances their knowledge, skills, and attitude.
"B.P. Marine Academy has also demonstrated a strong commitment to social impact by providing financial assistance worth Rs 55 crore to economically disadvantaged students. This initiative under its CSR and has opened career avenues for thousands of aspiring mariners who otherwise lacked access to quality training."
