Mr. Singh, aged 58 years, graduated in B'Sc Mechanical Engineering from Sambhalpur university Orissa, served 17 years in merchant navy upto the rank of Chief Engineer, Mr. Singh has been awarded Ram Charitra Manas Award by All India Port Labour Association. Also Excellency Award 2003 by Lions Club, CBD Belapur.
